Augustus Arthur
As a senior in Ashesi, all the values acquired throughout his leadership series from his freshman year, were properly aligned when he joined ADI-Ashesi. He learned about the team from President Naa Ayeleysa, whose passion for the development of sanitation in Agyementi inspired Augustus to get involved. Finally, he got the opportunity to exercise his role as a leader through service. He recalls that joining ADI-Ashesi was the most fulfilling decision he has taken during his time in undergrad school because of the visible impacts in the area of sanitation, which is a bottleneck for most rural communities in Ghana. He has worked on some Microfinance schemes and is looking to design one for the village as a tool for greater economic impact in the village. Augustus would graduate in June 2012 with a degree in Computer Science
