Darryl Finkton is the CEO and Co-Founder of ADI. Darryl leads the health and evaluation efforts for ADI and is also the head of ADI Consultations. A native of Indianapolis, Darryl received a BA in Neurobiology from Harvard University and read for an MSc/MPH in Global Health Sciences at the University of Oxford.

Sangu Delle is the Executive President and Co-Founder of ADI. Sangu presides over our global operations and leads our fundraising, strategy and project implementation efforts. A native of Ghana, Sangu received a BA in African Studies and Economics from Harvard University. Sangu has served on the board of the African Commission of Health and Human Rights Promoters, and has been involved in non-profit initiatives in Africa since 2000.

Professor Evelyn Higginbotham
Professor Evelyn Brooks Higginbotham is the Victor S. Thomas Professor of History and of African and African American Studies at Harvard University. She is currently the chair of the Department of African and African American Studies and has held this position since 2006. She also served as Acting-Director of Harvard's W.E.B. Du Bois Institute in the Spring 2008.

Kwame Owusu-Kesse
Kwame graduated from Harvard College in 2006 with an AB in Economics and selected as a 2008 Morgan Stanley Ambassador where the firm sponsored him to do a year of non-profit management at the Harlem Children's Zone (HCZ), directly supporting HCZ CEO Geoffrey Canada. Upon completing his year externship, Kwame is currently in the 3rd year of his joint degree program at the Harvard Business School and Harvard Kennedy School of Government pursuing a dual masters in Business Administration and Public Policy. Kwame was recently named a 2010 Education Pioneers Fellow and a 2011 George Leadership Fellow.

Ndu Okereke
Ndu currently resides in Manhattan, NY and serves as the Chief Financial Officer of the African Development Initiative. He has been involved with ADI from its inception, serving as Director of Finance for ADI's pilot project, Access to Clean Water for Agymenti and played an instrumental role in the financing elements of the project. Ndu is currently an analyst at Morgan Stanley in their Mergers and Acquisitions department.

Oluwadara Johnson
Dara joined the ADI team in 2008 as the CEO and Founder of Project Unveil. In addition to running Project Unveil, she leads ADI's operations in Europe driving its strategy, marketing, service development, and fundraising efforts. Dara received a BA in African and African American Studies from Harvard University in 2010. She holds a Gold Medal in Drama from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts.

Vishnu Ravi
Vishnu joined the ADI team in 2009 and is currently serving as the director of Technology. Growing up in New Jersey, Vishnu started working with computer technology at a young age and has developed numerous software and hardware solutions over the years, including this website.

Alex Almore
Alex joined the ADI team after working in Sierra Leone on malaria eradication efforts and being particularly inspired by Project ACWA. Invigorated by the young energy that comprises ADI, she wants to continue to increase undergraduate student involvement and as well as help shape the future vision and goals for the organization. Alex is a senior at Harvard University originally from Midlothian, Virginia.

Inspired by ADI's emphasis on community-based programs, Cara joined the ADI team in 2010 and was immediately impressed by the organization's dedication and quality of work. Cara is thrilled about the progress ADI has made this past year and excited about its future growth and development. Originally from Germany, Cara is a rising Junior at Harvard University.

Nigel Deen
Nigel first joined the ADI team in 2010 in order to help with the Global Giving campaign. Nigel believes that his goals and ADI's goals are one in the same and was motivated by ADI's ability to create practical, sustainable solutions to the problems that plague Ghana. By promoting the vision of ADI and creating awareness of the problems, Nigel believes that ADI can truly make an impact on Ghana and be an example to other organizations pursuing sustainable development. Nigel is currently a senior at Harvard University concentrating in Neurobiology with a secondary in Health Policy. He grew up in London, England.

Owen Wurzbacher
Owen learned about ADI from President Emeritus Adam Demuyakor and Adam’s passion for the work inspired Owen to get involved. He worked on a youth grant-making task force for the Seattle Foundation in 2009 and hopes to contribute to the future growth and development of the organization. Owen is a rising junior at Harvard University and grew up in Seattle, Washington.

Okeoma Nwakanma
Wanting to make a tangible difference in Africa, Okeoma was drawn to the African Development Imitative because of the success of both Project RISE and ACWA. The board's passion for innovation and impact is what made her join. She looks forward to encouraging undergraduate participation in ADI and contributing substanitally to the organization's development. Okeoma is a rising junior at Harvard University and is originally from Queens, New York.
